Games ‘n Smokies

Fun, food and friends. Our Social TL Kathy Moi-Barker organized another enjoyable event on Friday, which started about 3:00 pm with friendly competition on the greens and ended with a mix-and-mingle in the clubhouse. Forty+ members attended.

Anita introduced bowlers to a novelty game of Jack Attack—pairs playing 2 sets of 5 ends with a tie breaker—while croquet players paired up to compete on the upper green.  The two groups came together after games to enjoy drinks and a meal of BBQ’d ‘Smokies and coleslaw with a light fruit-cookie dessert ($10 pp). Profit over cost was put towards new lettering on the clubhouse.
