Year End Celebration

On New Year’s Eve afternoon, balmy weather brought out about fifty bowlers and croquet players to celebrate the end of a successful year and welcome in the new.  Bowlers filled five rinks on the lower green, croquet spread out over upper green; a few members stayed inside to carpet bowl.

After fun in the fresh air, players enjoyed another delectable spread of goodies—most notably spicy meatballs and chicken wings accompanied by savories and sweets, and coffee/chocolate topped up with Baileys and whipped cream. Richard orchestrated a singalong with a bonny rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
