The greens have never looked so lush. The rental program and a successful grant application financed the purchase of a new roller. It’s anticipated the greens will be in top shape next year with regular verticutting and rolling. Under a Strategic Plan drafted for years 2019-2021, funds from anticipated additional grants will be applied to upgrades to clubhouse and grounds.
Reports were followed by election of the 2019-2020 Executive and Committee Chairs. Many of the previous Board members stepped forward to serve for another year and several new volunteers offered their time and expertise to fill empty positions. See new Executive slate here.
Accolades go to the outgoing Executive Board, especially MaryLynne who has so aptly applied her leadership skills to the job of President over the last two terms. We welcome our new President Kathy Moi (former Vice-President).
Thank you to everyone who dedicated hundreds of volunteer hours and hard work over the year. Given the new vitality of the club, we look forward to an even better year in 2020.
