What an amazing afternoon the croquet players from VLBC and others from around Victoria enjoyed in the sunshine. The All Victoria Players Games and Potluck afternoon was full of entertaining games, good humoured socializing, and an opportunity to meet players from around our city. We were joined by players from Canadian Pacific, Windsor Park, Jungle Croquet, the Victoria Yacht Club and some unaffiliated singles.

Thank you to everyone who made this such an enjoyable afternoon, the players: the potluck’s (the food was terrific!!), to Kathy M. and the Vandersteen’s for cooking turkeys, the set up/take down crews, the food organizers and tidy up team, general pitching in -ers, and to Lorne for cutting the lawn yesterday so the grass was in beautiful condition.  Also thank you to the Weather for giving us a sunny day.

 We look forward to having another Croquet All Players event after the New Year.

 Lawns will be set up during the winter on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (first one down to set up) from around 11:00 to 12:00 ish to 3:00 to 4:00 ish, unless it is pouring, snowing, or freezing. Winter is also a good time to practice and improve your skills so come spring, you will be in extra fine fettle.
